Celle Ligure is a small town overlooking the coast of the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente.
Characteristic for Celle Ligure is the beautiful village, with its colorful houses in typical Ligurian colors, leaning against each other and creating the “caruggi“, the narrow alleys that form the historic center.
The caruggi of the ancient fishing village, the promenade, the beaches, the sea and the sun make Celle Ligure a little jewel of Liguria.
The seafront, over a kilometer long, which runs along the coast and is integrated into the historic center, also offers an open air art gallery where ceramic creations can be admired.
Behind the seafront you can walk along the ancient Roman promenade, a panoramic point that offers a wonderful view of the Gulf of Celle Ligure, its sea, the beaches and the red roofs of the houses.
On the west side of the village you can go up to the “Pineta ai Bottini” with a convenient lift, another opportunity to enjoy the panorama and a relaxing moment in the fresh air under the pine trees overlooking the sea.
From Celle Ligure there are several paths going inland, to discover beautiful panoramas and old villages. There are also tracks in the nature for lovers of trekking, biking and MTB.
